It’s saturday night and we’ve had 4 pretty long days of medical clinics in remote villages of El Naranjo and Aqua Blanca. The doctor’s and team have worked hard seeing 448 patients and perscribing and giving a whole lot of medicine. We not only helped people with their physical needs, we feed them spiritually as well. We had 106 people pray to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We serve an AWESOME GOD. It’s been a great experience and I think a very sucessful first medical brigade for this ministry in Honduras. We had great doctors and awesome team members who gave of their time and finances to serve God and the Honduran people here in Honduras. Thank’s to our families as well who sacrificed greatly in allowing us to be here. All that’s been done here with our medical brigade and our evangelism effots, we give all the Glory to God. We still have several days left here that we will spend sight seeing and traveling to Tegucigalpa to catch our flight home. Enjoy the pics of the last couple of days.

Posted in Dennis Hislop on January 12, 2012 by dennishislopIt’s Thurs. evening the 12th and it’s the first chance I’ve had to get pics and information out. We’ve been very busy. The team arrived Tues. the 10th but one bag didn’t make it. We put in a claim for it and was delivered by bus the next evening. All other bags with meds. made it through customs without a hitch. Praise God !!!
We arrived in La Esperanza safe and sound Monday night but most were exhausted. We’ve had 2 days of clinic in a very remote village , El Naranjo. We have seen 221 patients and provided a whole lot of medicine for them. Dr. Mark and Dr. George feel the clinic has gone very smoothly thus far and we have been able bless many people. Most people have walked from far away to come to our clinic. Some have walked as much as 5 or 6 hours.
We came to provide medical attention for those in need here in the mountains of Honduras. But no one leaves without hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So far 38 people have prayed to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Thank you God for the opportunity to help these people with their physical needs and thank you God for allowing us to be a part of Building Your Kingdom.
